2) WE ALL SHINE ON: JOHN, YOKO & ME----- Elliot Mintz- For 9 years Elliot was John & Yoko's most trusted confidante, and he has reamined a close freind to Yoko in all the years since John's death. He was there to witness the highs and lows of their dramatic lives, from their creative successes, to their temporary separation, to interactions with the other Beatles, their happiness from the birth of their son Sean, and in returning in 1980 with a new album. He was on the phone with John and Yoko nearly everyday, and he observed all the twists nd turns in their relationship. This book is an intimate look through it all, from someone who really knew them.
3) CANDY (BluRay) --- Ringo Starr's first solo film appearance from 1968. He appears as a Mexican gardener! Described as an innocent high-school student's far-out journey of sexual discovery, the film also stars Marlon Brando, Richard Burton, Walter Matthau, Charles Aznavour and James Coburn. 4) DAYTIME REVOLUTION (BluRay)---Excellent documentary on the week that John & Yoko co-hosted the Mike Douglas talk show in 1972. Archival footage mixed with current interviews with many of the guests that appeared that week, as well as news footage from that period. 5)ACOUSTIC(CD)---Pete Ham---A new limited-edition batch of rare home demos from Pete Ham. Only 1000 copies have been made, presented in a 6-panel digipak by Tom Brennan, who also compiled and edited the recordings. 30 songs in total, all performed on one or two acoustic guitars, with or without vocals. Another fine Badfinger-related release from Y & T Records. (Only 1 copy available.)
6) NEW (CD)--- Paul McCartney's 2013 album, with many favorites including songs he performed in concert at that time, including the title track, "Queenie Eye," "Everybody Out There," and "Save Us." 8)REUNION: A ROCK N' ROLL FAIRY TALE (Book) by Gary Burr--- Apart from working with Ringo Starr as a member of the band the Roundheads with Mark Hudson and Steve Dudas, and playing and writing songs on Ringo's albums since then (including Ringo's upcoming country album,) Gary has been one of the most successful songwriters in country music for the last several decades. This is Gary's first novel, a fictional story imagining that in 1998 John Lennon is still alive, and the Beatles reunite because of Linda McCartney's death to do one concert on stage. It's described as very humorous, and all for fun. And Gary has signed copies of this book for anyone who wins it here! 10) LET IT BE ROBERTA: ROBERTA FLACK SINGS THE BEATLES (CD)--- as a tribute to the legendary singer, we offer this 2012 album in which she covers all Beatles songs, including "In My Life," "The Long and Winding Road," and George Harrison's "Isn't It A Pity." This was, in fact, the final album she released.
